Uber is expanding in Michigan adding Grand Rapids, Lansing, Kalamazoo and Flint. Ann Arbor and Detroit residents have been enjoying Uber services. There are now six spots on the back of your left hand you can point to when showing friends where Uber is connecting drivers with riders in the Mitten State.
Uber offered Michiganders free rides for two weeks when it launched. If you didn’t take advantage of the offer I still have a free ride for you.
Get the app and sign up using promo code UPN1T (promo code valid in any city in the US). The code will give you $30 credit for your first ride. Going out with a friend? Have them sign up with the same code and get a round trip. $30 covers most rides around town making them free. See below for sample prices.
So go out for drinks, watch the game, go to a friends house or that party and stay safe and worry free when Uber is at the wheel.
How much does Uber cost after your promo code?
- KAL train station to the golf course – $6
- Downtown Lansing to the football stadium – $12
- Downtown Grand Rapids to Grand Rapids Int’l Airport – $29
